Tretinoin (Vitamin A) 0.025% And 0.05% Cream

A Visual Guide to Heart Disease Medical Illustrations of the Heart Image Collection Take the Heart Disease Quiz Side effect, caused by appliance of Generic Renova cream 0.025%  or Retino-A:
  • dizziness;
  • rash;
  • crusting or blistering;
  • conjunctivitis or eye redness;
  • skin color lightening or darkening;
  • skin swelling or burning;
  • troubles with breathing.
Sorry if I sound overly critical here, :p but in my humble opinion vitamin A cream is a bit overrated in it's ability to reduce hyperpigmentation. And if used excessively, it can actually cause or make erythema like PIE.

Generic Renova

Overall, I wouldn't really recommend tretinoin cream for treating acne per se. In my opinion, something like tretinoin (Renova), salicylic acid, or Azelex cream 15g are better suited for this. However, if blackheads, clogged pores, or congestion are your main issues than tretinoin is good option. Otherwise, it's meh.

Local irritation: The presence of skin irritation (e.g. erythema, peeling, pruritus, sunburn etc.) should prohibit initiation or recommencement of treatment with tretinoin (Renova) until the symptoms subside. If the degree of local irritation warrants, a patient should be directed to apply the treatment less frequently or discontinue its use temporarily. Use of RENOVA in certain sensitive individuals (e.g. patients with eczema, sunburn etc) may induce severe local erythema, swelling' pruritus, warmth, burning or stinging, blistering, crusting and/or peeling at the site of application. RENOVA (tretinoin cream) has been reported to cause severe irritation of eczematous skin and should be used with utmost caution in patients having this condition. If a patient experiences severe or persistent irritation, the patient should be advised to discontinue application of generic Renova cream completely and, if necessary, consult a doctor.

Aloe vera

There is a complete exposition of getting side effects, but cumulative voting can be defeated if you take medicines in sugar-sweetened foods and beverages:

  • headache;
  • allergy reactions;
  • flushing.
